The Fall Rotation Checklist for the 321 Corridor

The fall rotation is the same job every year, and it goes faster with a list. Here's a simple one for households up and down the 321 corridor, from Lenoir toward the mountain.

  • Out with the summer gear. Pool and lake stuff, patio cushions, fans, window units — anything that's clearly done until spring.
  • Up with the fall and holiday bins. Pull them from wherever they've been hiding so they're actually reachable when you need them.
  • Winter tools to the front. Leaf equipment, firewood setup, cold-weather gear — the stuff that's about to get daily use should be easy to grab.
  • Off-season sports and recreation. The camping gear and warm-weather equipment can trade places with the winter kit.
  • Do a size check. If the garage can't hold the winter half because the summer half never left, that's the sign to move the overflow out.
  • Make it one trip. Rather than shuffling piles from room to room, move the out-of-season half to a unit and be done.

That last one is where a drive-up unit on Highway 321 earns its spot. It's right on the corridor — on your way whether you're headed into Lenoir or up toward Boone — and the units run tall with real floor space, so the mowers and seasonal gear fit without stacking. Drive-up access means you back up and load; the gate's open past the workday. Everything's month-to-month, so you store the summer half now and swap it back in spring.

Run the list once and the rotation's a Saturday, not a saga. If you want a spot on the corridor to hold the off-season half, you can reserve storage units in Lenoir online, or call and we'll point you to the right size. Family-owned, and we're on your way.
